This train returned north empty on Thursday 11/13/08 with 910 on the rear rather than in mid-train. 750 was still on the point.

I found the E8 at Auburn next to RJ’s Distribution Center on Friday. Glad to see yall’s posts, I saw that CSX train and by coincidence found it at Auburn too and wondered what the story was on it.

Great job Jim, I shot the entire journey from rolling her out of the Mid America train shed to her arrival at South Union for my company Peridot Pictures and the Historic Railpark & Train Museum. You did a wonderful job as 796 rolled through your territory… THANKS for capturing this historic moment. Even on a grey, rainy day, the 796 sure shines…
