- OLD BUSINESS: Progress Rail trip Mayfield, and to Paducah on hold till October due to contact there being out of town. Crofton picnic on for Oct,6. Discussion on Mall display-officers need to get together to discuss details.
- NEW BUSINESS: We need to update chapter roster. Members present submitted addresses, phone # and E-mail address, those not present asked to submit.
- ANNOUNCEMENTS: Guthrie may have a transportation museum in the works in an old bldg. in their downtown. Sep 15 Darrel Cato’s semi-annual train show & swap meet at Armstrong North of Evansville. L & N Historical Soc, meet will be in Nashville. Bowling Green has new NRHS chapter.
- DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Wallace reports Convention ran in the red. Rides well patronized.
- SHOW AND TELL: Wallace brought some old rail prints which he plans to donate to the chapter’s “back room”.
- NEXT MEETING: Monday Sept. 24 at the Center 7PM Bill Thomas has program and Jim & Thomas will have their annual fish fry-Yum!
